PUMA MIND Workshop 2015 in conjunction with ModVal 12

PUMA MIND is organising its second annual workshop in the afternoon of 26 March 2015 in Freiburg, Germany. The main objective of the event is to present recent advances in multiscale modeling for PEMFC and follows from the first workshop organised in 2014 in Grenoble, France. 

The workshop is organised in conjunction with the 12th Symposium for Fuel Cell and Battery Modeling and Experimental Validation (ModVal 12). ModVal registered registered delegates are entitled to free access to the PUMA MIND Workshop.

Third PUMA MIND Consortium Meeting

The PUMA MIND Consortium members met during 14-15 Jan 2014 in Amiens, France. The meeting was hosted by Prof Alejandro Franco and his team at the Laboratoire de Réactivité et Chimie des Solides (LRCS) which is part of the Université de Picardie Jules Verne. Using a highly interactive format with round tables, the participants covered a range of scientific and managerial issues in the context of multi-scale PEMFC modelling. 

First Workshop on Multiscale Modeling for PEMFCs, Grenoble, 12-13 June 2014

PUMA MIND is organising its first open Workshop during 12-13 June 2014, at Minatec in Grenoble France. The main objectives of the event are to provide an overview of state-of-the-art multiscale modeling for PEMFC, while giving experimental insights as well as promote multiscale modeling outside the consortium. The programme features keynote lectures followed by technology and innovation presentations as well as a poster session and visits to laboratories.

PUMA MIND at FCH JU Review Days 2013

The PUMA MIND project was featured during the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen - Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) Review Days that took on the 11th and 12th November 2013 in Brussels. The event provided a first class opportunity to interact with the other projects that are being supported by the FCH JU.

PUMA MIND is part of a project portfolio covering system development, components, materials and operation diagnostics.

Workshop on Harmonization of PEFC testing protocols for automotive applications

The Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking has been co-ordinating the formation of a unified set of operation conditions to test and evaluate the performance of different Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEAs) and compare them for the purpose of creating a database. A dedicated workshop took place on 21 October 2013 in Brussels.

PUMA MIND Strategic Roadmapping Workshop in Amiens

PUMA MIND organised a Strategic Roadmapping Workshop on 15 July 2013 at LRCS in Amiens, France. The objective of the event was to gather input for a strategic roadmap covering fuel cell modeling technologies. The participants set the 10 year vision and subsequently debated entries across the different layers spanning Market & Business, Products & Services, Technology, Science and Resources. The process was facilitated by Dr Costis Kompis of Vodera and the roadmap is being hosted on SharpCloud.
